Task
About this template
Before creating this template, I had downloaded and used many task management templates,
but I felt that they had too many distractions for me.
Additionally, they were far from intuitive when it came to figuring out where to start,
leaving me feeling confused and unable to use them consistently.
That’s why I believe that one of the most crucial elements in task management is focus.
As I thought about what kind of template would be the most effective for maintaining focus,
I ended up creating this task management template.
This template is designed to allow you to work on only one task per page.
A task refers to a single stage in the task management process.
In other words, at each stage—Collect, Organize, Time, Manage—you will only be viewing one step in a page.
The Collect page is a space for freely adding tasks as they come to mind, without any boundaries, in a stream-of-consciousness manner.
The Organize page is where you sort and organize the collected tasks by category or project.
The Time page is used to determine the time attributes of each task,
such as whether it’s a Next Action to be done immediately when you have time,
a Calendar item with a scheduled time or appointment like so on.
The Manage page is a space where you view tasks and manage their status.
Here, you can update the status of tasks, check off completed items, and manage the project status.
