Dollars: Expenses & Income Tracking

Dollars is a free Notion template for tracking your daily expenses and income. Take full advantage of the new charts update to visualise your spending over the months, and easily add recurring payments like bills and salaries.

🐖 IMPT: You will need a Notion Plus Plan (or above) in order to save more than one chart to your workspace.

🐖 Dashboard:
● The Dashboard acts as your home page with three sections: Charts, Actions, Transactions
● 3x Charts:
(i) *Pie chart of current month's expenses, split by category
(ii) *Bar chart of past 6 months' expenses, split by category
(iii) Line chart of past 6 months expenses & income
*Note: (i) and (ii) have rent & bills filtered out by default.
● Actions: Add new expense or income entries. There is also a section to add recurring payments with pre-filled categories and values, because I like to only add these once I see the money move in my bank account. You can add or delete as many of these blocks as you want, but be sure to click the cog icon to update the values to match your own situation.
● Transactions: Two neat list databases (one for expenses, the other for income), grouped by month, filtered for past 2 months of activity. Date of transaction in yellow, followed by value ($X), then item name, and category flushed right.

🐖 Money Overview:
● Lists all added transactions (primary database)
● Line chart showing expenses and income over the months

🐖 When you start, please delete the dummy entries. You are encouraged to edit the category names, filters, lists and other properties to suit your own needs!
