"Spaced repetition flashcards" aims to make Anki's and Quizlet's core features more accessible to Notion users, either through a user-friendly interface or a lower price point.

With North America's school year just around the corner, the 7.50 USD retail price is more aligned with students' low purchasing power compared to Anki's (25 USD on iOS) and Quizlet's (30 USD per year) prices.

Here's are the main selling points of the template:

QUIZ MODE (Main feature, advanced use of Notion formulas 2.0)
Similar to Anki, the system displays the most relevant card to the user, who proceeds to select one of four difficulty options to set the card's review date.
In light of the spaced repetition method, the harder/recent cards appear more often whereas the easy cards are buried deeper in the deck.
In contrast to more rudimentary flashcard templates, the elaborate code reduces friction from a UX point of view by automating small, but recurring manual operations and navigation clicks.

SETTINGS
Anki is feared because of its steep learning curve. To make spaced repetition more accessible to the public, we decided to make the Quiz Mode's customization as straight-to-the-point as possible.

The mastery level score and due date reminders are the fruit of much thought and trial & error. It informs the user on its progress and even provides contextual instructions. This adds to the polished aspect of the template.

MOBILE-FRIENDLY DESIGN
This template's interface is optimized to be used on desktop for flashcard editing and on mobile for studying on the go.

DECK BUILDER
Create or import flashcards in bulk to streamline the editing process. Users may spend more time studying than writing the flashcards. Bulk importing also promotes team collaboration with study groups.
