NEC Early Warning Notice Register
About this template
Early Warnings are a risk management tool used to deal with any project risks as they arise, rather than leaving them until later in the project, where they could be more difficult to manage and could have a greater impact on the project.
The EW Register tracks and manages these risks, whilst maintaining clear communication on the project as an Early Warning Notice (EWN) must be issued as soon as a party becomes aware of ‘any matter’ that could:
1. Affect the total of the prices
2. Delay the completion date/ key date
3. Impair the performance of the works in use
