📝 Step 1: Duplicate the Template

Click on the link below to access your Notion Finance Overview & Investment Tracker template. Once you’re on the Notion page, simply click the "Duplicate" button in the top right corner of the screen to add the template to your Notion workspace.

🗓️ Step 2: Monthly Finance Overview
When you open the template, the first thing you’ll see is your Monthly Overview. This gives you a snapshot of:
Total Invested: How much you’ve invested.
Total Expenses: Your total spending for the month.
F&O Profit: Profit from Future & Options trading (if any).
Total Income: How much you’ve earned.
This section is updated monthly to keep you informed about your financial health at a glance.

📊 Step 3: Track Your Growth with the Trend & Distribution Graph
Here’s where things get exciting! The Trend & Distribution Graph visually tracks how your investments grow over time. You can see:
Investments in Bonds, Crypto, Domestic Stocks, Fixed Deposits, and F&O.
Compare your portfolio performance over time: Last 30 Days, 7 Days, and even Yesterday!

Tip: Hover over the graph to see exact figures for each category!

💰 Step 4: Input Your Investments
Your Investment Table is where the magic happens! It keeps all your financial info organized. Here’s what you’ll track:
Investment Type: (e.g., Bonds, Crypto, Stocks, F&O)
Date of Investment: When you invested.
Amount: How much you invested.
Return & Profit: How much you’ve gained (or lost).
🟢 How to Add an Investment:
Scroll to the table titled Investments.
Click the + New button.
Fill in the details: Type, Date, Amount, and who made the investment (e.g., “Dad,” “Myself”).

💡 Pro Tip: Easily see which investments are earning you the most profit with the Monthly Profit Column.

💳 Step 5: Keep an Eye on Your Expenses
Staying on budget? Use the Expense Tracker to monitor all your spending:
Rent, Credit Card, Furniture, Vacation Expenses, Subscriptions, and more.
🟢 How to Add an Expense:
Scroll to the Expenses Table.
Click + New to add an expense.
Fill out the details: Expense Name, Amount, Date, and Tags to categorize (e.g., "Living Expenses" or "Vacation").
Example: Add your Spotify or iCloud subscription under “Entertainment.”

📅 Step 6: Monthly Financial Summary
Easily compare your income, investments, and expenses each month. The Monthly Summary Table shows:
Start & End Date of the month.
Total Income.
Total Investments.
Total Expenses.
F&O Profit.
Tip: This section helps you track your progress and identify months where you might need to adjust spending or investments.

💵 Step 7: Track Your Income
Got income from different sources? Use the Income Table to record:
Gratuity, Salary, or other sources of income.
The Month and Amount you earned.

🟢 How to Add Income:
Scroll down to the Income Table.
Hit + New.
Input details like the Source (e.g., “Microsoft”), the Month, and Amount.
This gives you a clear picture of how much you’re earning monthly and from where.
