Template Structure
Date: Represents the day you are tracking expenses for.
Item: Specifies the name of the item or service purchased.
Category: Indicates the type of expense (e.g., Food, Travel, Utilities).
Amount: Records the cost of the expense.
Notes: Provides additional context or details about the expense.
Insert Expense Button: Adds a new expense entry for the day.
Insert Day Button: Creates a new section for another day.
Step-by-Step Guide
Add a New Day
To track expenses for a specific date:
Click the "Insert Day" button at the bottom of the page.
Update the date to the current day or the day you want to track. Use @Today for today's date or select a specific date by clicking on @Today.
Add an Expense
To add a new expense under a specific date:
Click the "Insert Expense" button under the respective date section.
Fill in the following fields:
Item: Enter the name of the item or service (e.g., Coffee, Lunch, Taxi).
Category: Choose a relevant category (e.g., Food, Transport, Entertainment). You can add new categories as needed.
Amount: Enter the exact amount you spent (e.g., $3.50).
Notes: Add any details you want to remember (e.g., "Morning coffee at Starbucks").
Review Past Entries
To monitor your spending:
Scroll through past days to view previously logged expenses.
Check notes to understand spending habits and patterns.
