Dungeons and Dragons Player Portal
About this template
In making this Dungeons and Dragons Player Portal, I want to create a product that helps the average player organize their notes. For me, I was constantly forgetting names, location, what people were at what location, what quests we have, and sometime even what friends we've made along the way. In making this, I wanted to cover all of those topics and provide fixes for each.
SPELLBOOK
With the Spell Book page, you can write down the spells listed in the book, check mark which spells are prepared for the long rest and even see what scrolls are in your inventory from a connected table view.
QUESTS
With the Quest page, you have the ability to create quests, mark the priority of them, and mark whether they're main quests or side quests. Doing this, displays your quests on the home page for quick view on what your quests are and what is the priority right now.
PLACES
With the Places page, you are able to create location profiles. You are able to link people and quests to the locations, indicating where people are and where quest objectives lie.
PEOPLE
With the People page, you can create person profiles. Here, you can mark them as Ally, Dead, Suspicious, or Enemy. This helps remind you about the person from the tavern 8 months ago that does NOT like you. You can also link to location and quests here and of course, there's a place to take personal notes on each person.
INVENTORY
Now the Inventory page is mostly for a party's bag of holding, you can also keep your player inventory updated here too. If you have any scrolls in your inventory and tag them as such, they will appear in your SpellBook page.
BACKSTORY
The Backstory page is simply a quick access to your written character backstory. This is so when the Dungeon Master does a slick name drop, you quickly able to refresh yourself on who that individual is.
GROUPS
The Group page is used for sorting guilds, groups, or organizations you come across in your adventures. You are able to link people to the groups to indicate the group they belong to. Obviously, alike to everything else, there is a place for you to take specific notes on the group.
GENERIC NOTES
This is a page where you can take your generic notes on what's going on currently. You can treat this however you would like.
