Comprehensive To-do made by a TPM
About this template
In this FREE template, you'll be able to plan your day and organize your to-do tasks based on the following comprehensive properties that empower the Eisenhower time management and the Kanban project management methods!
More details can be found after you download this awesome template, made by a technical project/product manager! :)
1. *Tags*: Currently, there are `Life`, `Hobby` and `Work`, of course, apply your own;
2. *Created Time*: This is automatically populated when you create a page;
3. *Started Date*: This is helpful if your tasks drag on for multiple days. Mark when you started. It can be used in combination of *Complexity*, which is like a *story point* in Jira – a measure of how long the task will take.
4. *Due Date:* well a due date is… when it’s due; A task can have no due date.
5. *Health*: This is a formula-populated value. It shows you that a task is **Past Due** **if the due date has passed while the *Status* is not **Done**, **or**, if there is not a due date, but it has been more than 4 days since you started it (if you have a *Started Date*. As a rule of thumb, you should break down your big tasks into smaller ones, and don’t have anything that runs for more than 3 days.
6. *Status*: Options are `Blocked`, `To Do`, `Today`, and `Done`.
7. *Complexity*: This is similar to a *story point* in Jira. You may choose your own measure of complexity. My rule of thumb is 1 point for every 30 mins. As mentioned above, a single task should never exceed 3 days, or 24 hours. So your max *complexity* should be `48`. You may have heard about the 2-min rule: if something takes < 2 mins, do it right away. In those cases, you can give a `0` to it.
8. *Impact*: This is needed for your Eisenhower matrix. `High` or `Low` See below.
9. *Urgency*: This is needed for your Eisenhower matrix. `High` or `Low` See below.
