What is this?
This is a configurable compensation calculator linked to two Notion databases. The first database records roles and base compensation rates, while the second database captures factors such as location, levels, and steps. Once configured, the databases are used to generate a compensation calculator that can be embedded in any page across Notion or any site that allows embeddable links.
Who is it for?
This is designed for small, progressive companies that want to create a culture of clarity and transparency by opening up a critical component for any company; how you pay people. By making your compensation framework clear, consistent, and accessible, you can build trust among your team and make progress towards more equitable outcomes for your people.
How does it work?
Using Notion's integration service, an API is used to fetch the data from both databases and update the dropdowns, sliders, and chart. Each calculator is linked to the database pair for a single Notion Teamspace.
